Josh and Stefanie Tarter are proud to call Lexington, Kentucky, their home. Like many others, the Bluegrass State won them over as a great place to live, work, and raise a family. They first met boating at Lake Cumberland, a summertime favorite still today, in 2006.
The Bluegrass quickly became home after Stefanie and Josh were married in 2009. They have four children (Daphne, Davis, Caris, and Cameron) and noticed that there was a need for a clean, safe, and state-of-the-art facility in central Kentucky. Stefanie and Josh wanted a place that would foster a love of learning through play especially outdoors. Their family keeps a garden most months out of the year and their young children take pride in its maintenance and production.
The opportunity and resources presented themselves and allowed them, to join the All About Kids family. Josh and Stefanie were excited for the opportunity to combine their business backgrounds, love for nature, and respect for education, in this venture. The opportunity not only offered a wonderful place for their kids to learn, but their neighbors’ kids as well. With their own children at the forefront, there was no doubt that they wanted to join the AAK family. They are looking forward to making an impact on those who choose their facility.
Josh and Stefanie opened their All About Kids franchise, Clays Mill Campus, in the Spring of 2018. All About Kids teaches a love for learning, resourcefulness, and good stewardship of the earth. Now these lessons can be preserved in our central Kentucky children, as All About Kids Learning Center, Clays Mill Campus, opens here in Lexington.
My name is Debbie Link. I am the Director at All About Kids, Lexington. I hold degrees in Early Childhood Education and Philosophy. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for 19 years. I began my career as a preschool teacher in 2000, and never looked back since. I have a passion for families and children and enjoy watching them learn and grow daily. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching Early Childhood professional development training classes including the Child Development Associate.
I am from Louisville, Kentucky. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Chris, for 20 years. We have two sons, Andrew and Zachary. Andrew is in college at the University of the Cumberlands and Zachary is now in middle school at Royal Spring in Georgetown. My favorite title that I hold is mom. My family means the world to me.
All About Kids truly is a second family to the staff and children that we serve, and I am thankful for the opportunity to be part of it!
Hi, I’m Elisabeth Strong and I am the PM director at All About Kids, Lexington. I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2009 with a degree in Marketing and Public Relations and I also earned a degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of Memphis in 2011. I first taught preschool at Ascent Children’s Health Services, a childcare center for special needs children in West Memphis, Arkansas. There I worked with speech, occupational, physical and behavioral therapists to create development plans for each child and implemented their goals in the classroom. In 2013 I moved back to Lexington with my now husband and began a new teaching position at the Family Care Center with LFUCG Family Services. There I taught pre-kindergarten, preschool, and taught one year of Head Start. I also obtained my Director’s Credential while working at the Family Care Center. I began working at All About Kids at the end of July 2018 as the assistant director.
I have been married to my husband, Andrew, for five years. We have two fun-loving children, Grant and Ally Blaire that keep us on our toes! We enjoy spending weekends together as a family and introducing our children to new experiences.
